Program Overview

The joint providership of Medical Education Resources and Focus Medical Communications presents the 19th Annual UCLA Liver Diseases Symposium. This educational activity will equip healthcare professionals with the latest evidence, clinical guidelines, and emerging therapeutic strategies to optimize the diagnosis, management, and treatment of liver diseases and improve patient outcomes.
 

Target Audience: 
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of HCPs including gastroenterologists, hepatologists, oncologists, internists, family medicine physicians, physician associates, nurse practitioners, and nurses involved in the care of patients with liver disease.
 

Educational Objectives: 

• Critically appraise emerging therapeutic options and treatment paradigms for liver conditions.

• Integrate current evidence and guidelines for the diagnosis, risk stratification, and comprehensive management of a broad spectrum of acute and chronic liver diseases.

• Apply recent clinical trial data, technological innovations and updated guidelines to optimize patient outcomes in hepatology and liver transplantation.

• Review evolving and new indications for liver transplantation.
